CAT(an)alysis for the CAT

I was wondering as CAT results are out and though many of us know the results - Still how about tete a tete with the Gurus from Thapar who made it through !

So the idea is to try and catch hold of the MBA brigade who made it through the meccas of excellence and grill them on their strategies - Right from the preparation of the written test to interviews and their experiences and lessons.

And of course am thinking about the format - Though an interview like format is not a bad option. The topics I wanna explore are right from- Why MBA ?, Preparation methodology,Experiences,Mistakes Made,What clinched it through, specific advice and future plans and every other things that makes the game.Wanna make it a tad organised though don't want to miss on the spontaneity of the interaction too.

I am quite buoyed by the idea and will give it a shot and see how could maximum benefit could be derived from it.

The utility of this exercise is two fold for me-One as MBA is my immediate goal too, it will help me to learn and refine my strategies for the CAT.And secondly which I am more passionate about is that it will help me understand some of the potentially sharpest personalities and their frames of perception, which I have always found to be catalyst in my own associations with reality.

So let's see how it goes.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

ps-As I reread the post it's more like notemaking in my notes diary, except the last line of course. So forgive the aloofness ;)
