Holi at TIET

Although belated but while going through my photograph archives of last month I found this one - Too typical to be missed.
So chill out dudes - Let the guys have some fun.
ps-incidentally just after the post ran into this now too familiar story.Still nevertheless always a boon for the ones about to commence their journey.

The holi celebrations at JNU were really elaborate. My friends, mostly from UP and Bihar, were all enthusiastic about Holi. All the guys and girls from different hostels formed their own departmental groups and started their journey visiting each Professor's house, finally ending it at the "Ganga Grounds" (the ground just opposite our hostel, Ganga). Guys high on "bhang", served in their hostels, behaved in all sorts of funny and idiotic ways. Later that evening, "Hasya Kavi Sammelam" was organised where all the invited reknowned poets would recite their masterpieces.
The mess employees got the day off, and as such we used to get packed lunch of poorie-aloo with breakfast. Dinner was usually out, or we cooked in our hostel rooms.
I always made sure that I visit home during that time as I do not like Holi (I have no problem with the festival, but I hate being splashed with cold water with colors that made my skin break up in rashes). But the last year I was in JNU, I stayed back, climbed up on the roof of my hostel building and watched all the fun from my safe haven!
It was much fun...
